We were honored to be asked to create the flowers for the cover of the February issue of Middleburg Life. This is a wonderful local magazine that focuses on life in Hunt Country, Virginia. Editor Jennifer Gray put together a great team to create this romantic winter look. The bride wore an exquisite gown with long, flowing sleeves paired with a vintage feather headpiece. The groom looked dashing in a blue tuxedo with dark lapels.
The bridal bouquet contained premium Cloni ranunculus, protea, astilbe, scabiosa, gerber daisy, thistle, and hanging amaranthus. It also had a mix of lush greenery and dried grasses that echoed the feathers in the bride’s hat. We created a unique pocket square of flowers for the groom - a nice alternative to a traditional boutonniere.
And check out the stunning view of the vineyards and mountains, with a just a touch of snow on the ground. Love the Virginia countryside!
